If you have an auto responder service, you can also have an optin form through which readers can sign up and get a better knowledge about you.
This is the right time to market your products to your readers as they are in the process of knowing you. I also entertain my readers by asking them to send me their questions in the auto responder by providing them with an auto responder link. 
Thus this is the trick of building the lists and gaining subscribers.

One more thing that people do with their article is put up in the blogs and article directories. They also put up duplicate contents and in spite of that they do well in the search engine rankings.
However, you can’t get away with people stealing and copying your stuff.
Thus, whenever you write an article, you should put it up first on your blog and also in your site. You can do this by giving a brief introduction telling the readers that the articles which they read are purely original written by you.
